Hello from sunny gold coast

Post by Guest on Tue Oct 23, 2012 10:59 am

Hey all,

Just found your site and thought I would sign up. My name is Nathan and im a photographer on the gold coast. I have been into racing games since the bug bit me way back in the GT days. Currently spend most of my online time racing with mates in FM4 public lobbies, which can be a real pain sometimes. Current setup is a CSR wheel and elite pedals on a playseat frame. Going to pick up Horizon today for something a bit different but circuit racing is what I really enjoy. Looking forward to racing with some of you instead of the public lobby yahoo's!

Hey man - welcome aboard!

I used to only race public lobbies as well, but since joining up here I don't I've touched a public lobby since.

Send us FR if you like. I only race once or twice a week though.

Get stuffed! Who said I was old!! Hahaha...

I'm not actually that old, just super busy! When I look at my diary, there isn't a spare afternoon for weeks in advance! Tuesday nights are my race nights though. Tuesday seems to attract the biggest numbers so we normally run two lobbies for whatever the current series is. And I race on Friday nights whenever work/study allows.

I'm not sure what the sign up rules are for the current Tuesday night series. You might be able to snag a spot in Room 2 (the 'slow' room). Some series are run with the sign up locked at Round 1 of the series, some allow late sign up's. If you can land a spot, build your car up as per spec and get racing!

No matter what your level of ability, there'll be someone who you'll be equally as quick as you are so there are always door to door battles and super close racing. Just what ever you do, race clean!

Hey mate,

welcome in and have fun. Send out some FRs and you'll get plenty of rivals in Forza Horizon!
Sounds like you have a great setup. I'm thinking of getting some Fanatec gear later on (once I've restored my credit card from it's current VERY red colour). Smile

cya on the track sometime,
