Same Car - Stock Tune Series

Post by Guest on Wed Jul 11, 2012 3:25 pm

Hi Guys,

I like the idea of where everyone is restricted to using the same car, which has a locked tune etc.. Races would be on small short circuits, which would provide some awesome fun if we were to use a D/C class car only.

The idea behind it is that everyone has the same vehicle, nobody has an advantage over another person, except there pure driving skills.

One of these cars could be selected for the event (with the V8s coming soon, I thought this would be a slower paced less crazy series..):

2011 Peugeot 308 GTI
2009 Alfa Romeo Brera Italia Independent
2006 Ford Focus ST
2007 Honda Civic Type-R
2003 SEAT Leon Cupra R

Circuits that we would race on:
Tsukuba Circuit
Suzuka
Iberian International Circuit
Ladera Test Track
Mugello Club Circuit

Any thoughts?

sounds good, if you are keen to race in the same car & tune etc we also do the Porsche cup on Friday nights, using the stock tune only so get your name down for that too, its done on a week by week basis.

Mmmm popcorn!

Great idea, but boring cars are boring. I prefer A Class and up.

been busy lately - if I get more spare time and can get back on the Forza I'd been keen for some standard stock shenanigans. Porsches or Peugeots - er actually I haven't bought the porsche pack yet, so none of them for me yet.

Standard stock tune races are good for the less advanced drivers on here. Good to build up racing skills.

Because I don't have the best knowledge on cars Rolling Eyes

What if we had a 'Peugeot Cup'?

And yeah, the slower cars are probably aimed at people similar to my driving ability (or my lack of driving ability No ). But of course all drivers would be welcome!

If anyone is free to have a few laps in the next few nights (not sure if I'll be online tonight or not...), let me know. Would be good to try some of these cars out together for a laugh.
