Hey guys, been looking for some fellow aussies to play forza 4 with and found this site. Looks great.

I take my racing pretty seriously, I race clean and respect the other drivers. I bought a Fanatec wheel a few months ago and I'm loving it. Takes the racing to a whole new level.

I'm eager to join one of the racing series. Are any of them open to join at the moment? Is there a mulit class event coming up?

Looking forward to chating and racing with you guys!

Hey Senna,

Welcome!

The are a few things going on at the moment, there is the Abarth Series on friday nights - the guys are having lots of casual fun in them. The V6 Super Utes are just about over, so probly not much point in jumping in them right now. The next V8 Supercars series is starting up soon, you are welcome to join in the action there. I think there is some drifting going on, i think that is Monday nights. I believe there will be a multiclass enduro series starting up just after christmas, with a few casual / test runs before hand. These will be on the weekend, maybe saturday nights. NoRecoil has been setting up some Touring cars, not sure when he will fit them in.

Best bet, keep your eyes on the forum mate, there is plenty going on... maybe too much Razz

PS: There are also some hot lap challengers going on too.

Welcome senna.

We're always happy to have another clean racing Aussie on board.

As Dazza mentioned a few things happening, The V8 series might interest you, starting early December. You'll find a lot of our club members putting in competitive times in rivals mode and leaderboards as well.

Stay in contact on forum and you'll find yourself some races withuiot any trouble.

Do you have any favourite classes or cars that you like to race?

Hey thanks for the replies guys. I'll put my name down for the V8 Supercars for sure.

I'm more of a racer than a tuner, but I'm trying to get into tuning more in Forza 4. (Hard to find the time though) So hopefully I'm still competitive being new to tuning.

I have fun racing any class really. But I do a lot of racing in B, A, and S. I also really like the R class racing cars.
Also I'm really liking the old school muscle cars in Forza 4. Shame about those glitched cars though.

Just curious if there are a few wheel users at OZFM? I really liking my GT2, but hoping they are going to make a patch for the 900 degree/linearity problem. After playing GT5 with it, it just doesn't feel right on Forza. Although I like everything else about Forza more. Very Happy

If you like racing different classes you shouldn't have too much trouble getting some races.
So keep watch for events getting posted, if you're feeling adventurous you could even organise one yourself. Smile

As for wheel users, we sure do, with a lot of very good controller users a well.
Quite a few members have bought GT2 or Turbo S wheels, others use the Microsoft one.
Check the gaming hardware thread, you'll find stuff in there about wheels, race rigs, wheel issues, etc. And theres this about Fanatec wheels.

I've seen a post on Forza net where T10 are preparing a patch that should fix some problems, including those with the 900 degree wheel. I hope its not too much longer before they release it.
