G'day from XBW

Post by Guest on Mon Oct 10, 2011 11:01 am

Howdy all.

original skin pointed me to this forum from xboxworld.com.au. I've always been a casual racer, just using my controller and not "clean" racing to get through the game. I picked up a MS wireless wheel but always went back to the controller as my times were quicker. Then skin started up some casual race nights on XBWAU so I joined in and had some fun.

Now with Forza 4 on its way I grabbed the demo early and brought out the wheel. So much fun! After some laps in the Zonda I've managed a 1:48 clean lap which I'm quite happy with and I know that there's quite a bit of room for improvement. I've made a promise with myself to only use the wheel for this game. So much so that I popped into JB yesterday and picked up the Porsche Turbo S and Clubsport pedals for $450. Smile

Hopefully with some practice I'll be able to join in on some races here.

Yeah, I would have paid the $499 but I thought being JB it couldn't hurt to ask if they could do a better price. When they guy came back with $50 off I was even happier.

I'm still deciding whether to get the sequential and H shifters from Pagnian or not. $79 delivered seems to be quite a good price.

i would have thought JB had them, when you open the box
you can see enough room where the shifters could go.
the original deal included shifters.
