New xbox360 bluetooth wireless head set

Has anyone purchase the new xbox 360 bluetooth head set yet.. the replacment for the older wireless head set...

just seeing if anyone has and what there though is on them and how well do they work.. ??

Haunt seen the Ms one, but Turtle beach has also a new headset XP500 I think it's bluetooth/WIFI, BUt the only problem is it uses a dongle that .plugs into the controller's normal 2.5mm socket.
so it's only wireless to the controller not the xbox, if your also having problems plugging in a headset to the fanatec wheel then your will probably still have the same problems with a bluetooth adaptor.

I don't think the xbox has Bluetooth, so I'm assuming that the Ms headset also works the some way...

yer i love my turtle beach but im having issues using it with my turbo s wheel every time its hooked up every one tells me im realy loud so i have to go back to the wireless head set not happy the strange thing is it didn't have this issue with forza 3

How loud can't u move the mike away from u?? try covering it with something to block the mike. if you know about electronics you could wire a small resistor into the mike inputs. there is a bit of room inside the unit.

really load im told like it is over amplified no matter where the mike but i only have the drama with the wheel when i hook it up to the controller there is no problems

Put it this way, i've got a similar design headset for the PS3, and i hate it. Unless the thing that sticks in your ear is super soft, don't bother, the current headsets are superior.

As i was looking to get a new wireless headset as using the cables standard headset u get with your xbox in my fanatec wheel seems to not work proply.. as i can bearly hear anyone .. it like the volume is turned right down..

Anyways ended up getting a set from the UK as it was cheaper then buying the original xbox headset again.. so when it arrives i will give it ago.. as from the past the original xbox headset i have .. has been playing up.. from memory in the last V8 series a few of the guys were saying there was screeching coming from my head set.. when on my end i couldnt hear anything.. i could see on the screen people were talking durig the race but i couldnt hear nothing .. and when i did everyone was like " DON man your head set turn it down "

hopefully this new headset will rid me of this problem..

DOH!!!! my bad i scim read the posts and some comments were about the head set i was talkn about..

i think the guy at JB's had no idea.. As just read RU mentioned the dongle goes into the controler and the shop assistant said it goes into your XBOX usb port..

Guess i will have to wait and see now.. hope its 1/2 decent compared to my old headset..

As i was looking at a turtle beach headset.. but present moment cant afford it as my car lease ends in 15 days and i have pay for car reg, GS, insurance all coming up in 1 hit and just before xmas.. looks like no xmas presents for the family.. . i had $55 sitting in my paypal account so just grabed the new xbox headset .. hopefully it will be a bit more reliable then the old ver headset..

Nope, thats exactly the one i was thinking of.

Yeh realised after being able to sit at my desk and have a read.. but hard when the boss sits next to u.. one of my probs is i skim read to quick..

after reading i did notice you guys were mentioing the headset i was talkn about.. as when i skim read i just seen turtle beach this and that so thought u guys ment the headphone type headsets..

once i get it i will test and let u guys know if they are actually better then the original ones.. im hoping they are ...
