I Drove This Porsche Yesterday Empty I Drove This Porsche Yesterday

Post by TEEROY 34 Tue Aug 23, 2011 2:15 pm

Told a few guys that the old man bought a Wrecked Porsche a while back, well he got it registered yesterday after doing all the work and here it is.

1998 Porsche Boxster

Took it for a spin and well it sounds like a Porsche and handles like its on rails.
Needs a punchier engine (Dad agrees) but if you can find the one thats in it already then you will prb think twice about it.

So ive driven a real Porsche now which makes me feel somewhat like a bit of a W...ker haha

Nice Resto job by the old man, the thing looks sweet as! 2.7? Yeah you need to wind em a bit, but they are still awesome fun around corners or say through the mountains :-) Nice 1

Dads done a nice job on the Boxster Mr T.
Maybe a bit underpowered for a Porsche, but it'd be fun behind the wheel. Any chance it'll find its way onto the quad track?

umm i dont have any damage pics, Dad had, rear drivers side wheel arch back was totally smashed

NO chance of doing jumps on the quad track or towing the trailer with the quads)

wreck cost him 19K, spent about 5K (he has loads of contacts from when he raced at Barbagello for a number of years) and hes a mechanic (good one too, always makes my v8 go faster than its supposed to, hehe)
value now if sold about 50K, but hes keeping it.

No you need a heavier car for Demo Derby Danno

umm no skids ....yet..he yelled at me when i tried to give it a bit of sideways hahaha

Don't crash it again, friend of a friend meticulously rebuilt a Shelby Cobra (yes, one of those ones, without the roof and the white on blue strips that looks oh so sexy).

First drive, got the accelerator stuck, drove it into a lamppost...
