Hey guys the FM4 is fast approaching so our next event will be on the new game. set for the 31st October @ 7PM

Basically it is a Dial your own index race where its all about consistancy. the guy who runs closest to his dial in wins. The Track will be Infineon Qtr mile.

You can only Front engine RWD only & must use manual transmission.
TCS will be allowed for new racers only.

Best of 5 runs wins with the winner moving on to the next round.

Prizemoney will be
1st place - 200,000 cr
2nd place - 100,000 cr
3rd place - 50,000 cr

I currently run a drag league at fhra.freeforums.org if you want to check out the site.
i thought it would be good to start a aussie drag league here as the site is mainly centered around american times so having a drag meet at a normal time with other aussies would be fun.

We are now also running a Burnout comp directly after the Drag racing.

The rules are simple the winner is who has the most amount of tyre wear in a 5 minute period.
You have to be moving around the burnout pad. NO sitting in one spot.
We will now only have 1 judging criteria.

- Tyre wear

Restrictions:

- Unlimited Hp

- Must be a Front engine RWD

- Unlimited Weight

Well it was our 8th OZFM Off-Street Drag race and our 2nd on FM4 and what a night of racing. We ran on the Sedona Qtr mile and had 8 of us running hard down the strip

- Nospig ran a best of 11.244 (+.024) on a 11.220 Dial in to take out xPPRTxAGROV8x who ran a best of 9.568 (+.051) on a 9.517 Dial in.
- xXD3IIvIIONXx ran a best of 10.477 (+.004) on a 10.473 Dial in to beat Tastyyx who ran a best of 12.228 (+.118) on a 12.110 Dial in.
- xPPRTxPACMANx ran his dial in of 10.060 in his 5th run to take out xDUBSTEP VIRUSx who ran a best of 10.954 (+.102) on a 10.852 Dial in.

I will hold a drag lobby tonight for an hour from 7pm tonight AEST. Reply here or send me a message on XBL if your keen to run. It will just be a test & tune to dial in your car and me and AGROV8 will be on hand to help out with tuning.
Even if you haven’t tuned a drag car before but would like to we can help u. its all about helping out our fellow OZFM members.

come on man, I tried the time trials when in the past I had blatantly refused to do anything that even resembled circuit, turns out it was pretty addictive, maybe drag racing will surprise you all, wont know if you dont try

just updated the op with a little more details it will start at 7pm AEST and should run for about an hour. Just post your intent to race along with what car you are running and what your dial in time will be.
