Hi mate,

can't really help out,

but beware of the one on Pagnian's website "Next Level Racing" GTPRO. I did see one of these cockpit's in the flesh in a shop the other day, and to be honest it felt real cheap and nasty for the $600 asking price, the racing chair was small & tight and very uncomfortable, but the quality of the build just didn't match the price tag

Im getting a client to fabricate a stand for me, just got to bolt and wield it together, and Im going to use a typist chair for the seat.

Happy hunting

yeah dont want a cockpit like those gtpro's, look annoying, the one's on simparts nz look ok'ish at least its local for its size

just been given a solid steel cockpit looks like a stockcar style, cant get it in the house by like 10mm, gonna set the gas torch to f'n thing just keep the bucky seat off it that means i now have 5 seats

contemplating getting dear ol dad on a arc welder to make a stand, so wether someone can do a good review or willing to measure a stand up so i can build one????

i cant find any in NZ to get measurements off

I have one of the Fanatec Wheel Stands, and it is solid. The only problem I have with it its, the bolt that holds the upright from moving comes loose and the upright moves backwards and forwards, until I tighten it up again. I have googled it and that seems to be a common problem. It only comes loose if I drive things like Dirt 2 where the steering is a bit more aggressive, forza seems ok though.

it is steel, it wieghs a lot. The only parts that are not steel are the 2 'planks' that the pedal box sits on.

I will go take some pics tonight

This is it here Fanatec Rensport Wheel Stand

need
width length of base,
length upright bars, see if the comp chair becomes useful
pic shape and measure of top plate
pic shape and measure of shifter plate
diameter of that bar across base

Maybe I should just ask Fanatec for the design plans ...

I would have to pull it all apart to get that much detail. I am guessing you want to copy it. If you can wait until I get my GT2 I will take the measurements then.

just the bar extendend

apparently it sits well unsure of height and thinkness is the main part, looks like it would fall forward

im really bored atm, i could use my dropsaw with my left hand to cut the pieces, enough steel around here and wait for welding haha

To give you some idea of the wieght, I have mine on a tile floor and it does not move at all while using the thing. I sit on my lounge, grab the vertical pole that holds the wheel, and slide it to me. Once I put my feet on the pedal box it does not move.
