Do you own a Fanatec Wheel?
Do you own a Fanatec Wheel?
There must be a few of us using the Fanatec Wheels now, I was just wondering how many of us there are.

Re: Do you own a Fanatec Wheel?
Dazza, it might be interesting to re-do the poll and find out what model wheel our guys have and if they're using the CS Pedals.
From whats been posted around the place I'm thinking we have:
Turbo S + CS pedals - Don Stylz
GT2 + CS pedals - Dazza, RU, Crimson Eagle, Stoner and iWolf with Mitch waiting for delivery.

I think it would be safe to say, all but one has the GT2 and all have the CSP. Might be wrong if I am post up here.

Think you're right Dazza, I've probably listed them above.
Thought there might be someone else with the GT2...
Maybe not.

I haven't seen anything that cheap, but the Turbo S + Clubsport pedals + shifter set are still being advertised online by local retailers for $699.

Re: Do you own a Fanatec Wheel?
Im doing some investaging now to, email simparts last night...response was...
Yeah I missed that one to stoner, was on trademe last night hunting but nothing...Keen to pay for a wheel but the pedals are dam expensive lol...
"We have the Fanatec Xbox compatible wheels arriving here on August 1 and have a current deal available for people that preorder. If you get the GT2 wheel and the Clubsport pedals together then we will throw in a set of shifters for free, they normally sell for $100 and you get both a sequential and an H shifter with the set. So that's $798 plus freight for all of it"

you're right puttz, the CS pedals are expensive, but they are very good.
Construction is absolutely solid and have some adjustability built in. Plus there's the tuning kit ($108 AU) if you want more customisation.
Pedal operation is smooth and having actual brake feel is a major improvement. No comparison to the M$ pedals. They do have a couple of weaknesses, discussed in other forums. But are worth having as much as the wheel, imo.

Hey Puttz - I'm kind of in the same boat. But I think I'm actually looking forward to a decent set of pedals more than the wheel.. The lack of feel especially with the brake pedal using the MS Wheel just does my head in.
Besides, I've already given him a deposit - so it's too late now
