a shit load of editing.........basically you tweak some settings and whola wizard

..was hard enough getting it right for a single photo...this bloke has some awesome skills to do it for video....hats off

cool,

I recon they use a several filters, one being a Vignette ( focus in the centre and blurred out) the contrast has been adjusted way up along with the sharpness.
Maybe dropped the frame rate down to 8 or 10 Fps, to give it that jerky movement too.

some big number crunching either way, looks impressive,

could well be true, it was just my un-educated guess, post production video software is pretty amazing too, really I got know idea, great find with the link, I might even pm the guy and ask him!

Just received a message back from Keith,

"Really glad you like the film.
The technique uses specialized lenses to create the illusion of miniaturization, and then speed changes mimic the movement of smaller subjects (slot cars, stop frame animation etc).
