hi, here's my bio.
my name is virgil i'm 27, i have three kids, my two 7 year old boys fight me for x-box time, 1 year old daughter. i love forza (it has ment the end of more then a few girlfriends)
i have had many cars since i started driving at 18.
1: 86 vw scirocco. bought for $800 ran for 3 weeks owned it for a year searching for the fuel problem we went through 2 sets of injectors 4 fuel pumps then it ran and went through 2 sets of front tires i broke a motor mount blew up the trans. sold it for $225. (what a pile)
2: 83 saab 900 turbo (green) $300 new engine, turbo, tires, cage, gutted, "race ready" great car for a 18 year old huh? two weeks later on my way home from the track blew it sky high 40 ft flames.
3: 84 saab non turbo (white) $600 boring ole reliable. year later sold it for $1000
4: 84 saab turbo $450 (black) aka the black bullet. no F-ing around the fastest car i will ever own. with 475k on the ticker rebuilt the motor, t3/t4, flashed ecu, custom cam, mitsu intercooler, lowered 1in, 16 195/50 zr toyos, two radar directers, cb radio, removed bumpers, az spec headlights black windows black wheels, blew up the tranny doing 135 mph. gave it away.
5: 98 chev cavlier ex-wifes car fast for an American soda can.
6: 95 ford escort $300 new engine one owner, ran great till i wrecked it. never again own a ford.
7: 93 geo storm $1600 fun car payed way too much. left it o the side of the road and walked away shaking my head.
8: 80 toyota pickup 2wd $200 pulled it out of a horse pasture where it had sat for 2 years replaced the battery drove the piss out of it for over a year i put 30k on the odo and still sold it for $175
9: 97 saturn twin cam 5-speed station wagon $750. this car was a race car screamed sold it to a friend for $200
10: 97 subaru legacy 2.5GT Sad given to me and could not get it to stop over heating. sold it for $500 miss that car.
11: 94 saab 900 v6 5speed have it now been breaking parts since i bought it.
12: to reduce the speed i travel at i bought a 86 isuzu trooper and it works working on a 2 in lift with 32's its got a snorkel homemade

i race non LB cars! i love the wtcc idea. i take cars that people normally would not race and tune them to be somewhat comparative. i race D-A class

Thanks I live in washington state and work from 9pm-730am mon-thurs I hope there's some WTCC events or events like WTCC. As my name says I love the ring and have done 4 20 lappers

Hey mate,
welcome in. That's quite a car history you have there! :-)
Check out the Show us your ride section to see some of our cars. You might find the time difference a bit tricky between US and AUS, but it's worth having a go. Most races are on at around 9pm AEST, which (I think) is around 7am your time?
But there's always the hot lap competitions and others that you can check out.

Oh and a bike I bought a 87 fz 750 rocket for $400 and drove it one summer till I blew it up doing 140
